REAL MADRID BREAK BARCELONA’S UNBEATEN RECORD
Real Madrid have set a new unbeaten record in Spanish football as they salvaged a 3-3 draw at Sevilla to progress into the next stage of Copa del Rey. Karim Benzema scored in the 93rd minute to complete a sensational comeback and extend his team’s unbeaten run to 40 matches.
Real Madrid were 3-1 down till the 83rd minute when Sergio Ramos cut the deficit by scoring from a penalty.
Real suffered their last defeat in April, 2016 against German side Wolfsburg in a UEFA Champions League tie.
