Manchester City have completed all formalities regarding Gabriel Jesus’s £27m move from Palmeiras and will be allowed to name the youngster in the squad for their next Premier League match.
The Brazillian, who scored four goals in six appearances for his nation, had arrived at Manchester at the start of this month after agreeing a winter move in August.
But Jesus wasn’t cleared to play for his new club as FA verified his paperwork.
Manchester City had to compete with Barcelona to sign the talented youngster.
The Citizens face Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday.
