Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been charged with misconduct for pushing the fourth official during the Burnley game on Suday.
Wenger was sent off in the 93rd minute of the game after protesting referee Jon Moss’s decision to award Burnley a penalty.
Wenger refused to go to the stands and stood in the tunnel instead. Afterwards, he appeared to push fourth official Anthony Martial when the latter told him to leave the tunnel.
An FA statement read: “It is alleged that in or around the 92nd minute, Wenger used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official.
“It is further alleged that following his dismissal from the technical area, his behaviour in remaining in the tunnel area and making physical contact with the fourth official amounted to improper conduct.”
Wenger, who apologized for the incident later, has until 18:00 GMT on Thursday to respond.
