Gylfi Sigurdsson says he is enjoying the “pressure” of trying to keep Swansea in the Premier League, but has aspirations to play for a bigger club.
The Iceland international has been a key player for Swansea this season as they have battled against relegation.
The 27 year old told Goal.com “Hopefully if I continue doing well for Swansea and Iceland then in the near future, I can play in a big club. I am enjoying being one of the senior players, though,
“We may be in a tough spot, but I am kind of enjoying the pressure of that. I am trying to make the most of that and help the team to get three points every week.”
Swansea are currently three points above the relegation zone and will face fellow strugglers Middlesbrough in their next Premier League match.
