Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has outlined where he believes the Gunners have been going wrong in recent weeks.
A series of disappointing results have left them firmly out of the title race and seen them crash out of the Champions League by an embarrassing 10-2 aggregate scoreline to Bayern Munich.
And Ozil reckons the team’s poor form is down to a number of factors.
“We are having a difficult phase,” The German, 28, said. “Somehow something is not working with the team. We are letting in a lot of goals. Maybe it’s down to self-belief. When I look at the quality of Arsenal though I’m convinced we will get on a run again soon.”
“The fact is I’ve still got a contract in London,” Ozil told the German media on his future in the club.
“To speculate now would be wrong. At the end of the season we will see, there will be talks. I’m very happy at Arsenal and in London.”
