Orlando City star Kaka wants to continue his journey with the club but is yet to sit with the club officials over a potential contract extension.
“My first option is to stay here. I want to keep playing here in Orlando,” Kaka told Goal . “But we haven’t talked about that yet. We’ll wait for the right time to speak about that. Now I just focus on playing, staying in shape and being happy on the field. Then it will be the moment to speak about that.”
Kaka’s MLS career has been marred by a series of injuries but he has been in fine form lately and scored a wonder-goal against Orlando’s 1-1 draw with Kansas City.
The former Ballon d’Or winner has scored 53 goals and registered 18 assists for Orlando City in 58 appearances.
