Off the Pitch: David Beckham Inducted into PSG Hall of Fame despite Playing only 14 Games for the Club
David Beckham has been inducted into Paris Saint-Germain’s “Hall of Fame” – despite only playing 14 matches for the club.
The England legend was unveiled in the new roll of honor section of the French side’s website on Tuesday.
Aged 37, the ex-Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and AC Milan winger spent the last few months of his playing days with PSG.
He appeared 14 times in total without scoring a goal.
But it was not his performances on the pitch that secured him a spot among the other favorites.
As indicated on the website, he qualifies due to being an “icon of fashion” and “ambassador of charm”.
