Real Madrid To Play At Girona Under Maximum Security
here is no panic or anything like that with regard to Real Madrid’s trip to Girona, but members of the security which surround the team are on maximum alert, and as such the team will not travel on their usual team bus.
The political situation in Catalonia leaves any possibility open on Sunday, when Los Blancos play at the Estadio Montilivi.
For now, the Mossos (Catalan Police) are in charge of patrolling the game and are developing their match day response with total normality, giving Real Madrid the same treatment that Barcelona had on its visit to Girona.
The president of the Government, Carles Puigdemont, a native of Girona and follower of the Catalan club, has not confirmed his presence at the game just yet.
