Dembele Injured Again

For the second time in his short Barcelona career, Ousmane Dembele is injured with the latest ailment set to keep him on the sidelines for between three and four weeks.

The French forward has suffered a fibrillar rupture to his left thigh, a separate injury to the one which kept him out from September to January.

Dembele replaced Paulinho in the 20th minute of the second half in the recent LaLiga match with Real Sociedad; however he left the pitch complaining of discomfort in the hamstring that had previously been injured.

This was the second time in a week that he felt discomfort, it’s worth noting that after the Copa del Rey tie with Celta Vigo he also left the pitch in pain.

It is yet another setback for a player who was the club’s record signing until Philippe Coutinho’s arrival, he has played just four games since signing for the Catalan giants.
