Done Deal Wembley
The FA has reportedly agreed a $786 million USD deal for the sale of Wembley Stadium to American billionaire Shahid Khan. Khan, who owns both Premier League club Fulham and National Football League team Jacksonville Jaguars, has expressed his interest for some time in purchasing the stadium. The deal is expected to include a number of regulations, including a ban on naming rights sponsorship. English soccer’s events will not be affected by the sale, however with Khan’s plans to bring the Jacksonville franchise to London, the FA will move out of the venue during autumn.
