Juventus have officially launched yet another appeal to have the 2005/06 Serie A title removed from Inter. Due to the Calciopoli scandal of 2006, Juventus had two Scudetti revoked, the 2004/05 edition went unassigned, while the 2005/06 title was awarded to third-place Inter. Inter were handed the title because second place Milan were also docked points in the trial. Juventus have had several different appeals to have the titles returned, or at the very least have the trophy taken away from Inter. Most of their appeals so far have been about who gets to decide, as opposed to the issue itself, so it’s difficult to tell whether or not they’ll be successful with their efforts.
