This coming season, the club will display its new fan token ($VCF) on the front of its jersey thanks to Chiliz sponsorship. Continuing the recent trend, token holders will gain exclusive new access to the club with the ability to participate certain day-to-day decisions and receive new experiences.
Valencia CF has entered a new era of fan engagement by becoming the first team to display its own Fan Token on the front of its jersey from the start of the 21/22 season.
The move comes after the LaLiga Santander club reached a new partnership agreement with Chiliz, the creators of Fan Tokens and the Socios.com fan engagement platform, to become the club’s Official Fan Token partner. This latest move continues the club’s overall strategy of incorporating innovation and technology, exploring new trends and formats to find new ways of engaging with its local, national and international fan base.
By adding the new token to the front of the club’s shirt, Valencia CF and Chiliz aim to add a new dimension of entertainment, helping to keep football exciting and attractive to all generations and building stronger fan engagement.
Through acquiring tokens, Valencia CF fans from across the world will be able to stay closely connected and interact with the club in new and powerful ways. Socios.com will become a new meeting space for fans from all over the world, who will be able to participate in some day-to-day issues in a more direct way, acquiring first-hand real decision-making power through surveys, as well as winning prizes and being able to enjoy exclusive experiences.

In similar agreements, LaLiga clubs such as FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid and Levante UD are enabling token holders to participate in key club processes, voting on new messages or designs and gaining exclusive behind-the-scenes contact with staff and players.

VCF and Chiliz will launch the $VCF Fan Token on Socios.com in the coming weeks.
