AC Milan have confirmed that they are set to lose midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura and fullback Mattia Di Sciglio to injury.
Both players were injured during the club’s 2-1 defeat to Udinese on Sunday.
“AC Milan announces that during the match Udinese–AC Milan, Mattia De Sciglio suffered an injury to his right ankle with ligament damage. His recovery time will be determined on the involvement of the tests that will be monitored in the coming days. Giacomo Bonaventura will undergo further tests over the next few days to determine the extent of the injury to his abductor.”
Milan are currently 7th in Serie A, 14 points adrift of leaders Juventus.
