Alexis Sanchez has admitted committing tax fraud when he played for Barcelona.

The Arsenal star evaded an amount of £865,000 between 2012 and 2013.

Sanchez made the confession to a Catalan court via video conferencing from London.

Europa Press reports, the Chilean has already repaid the amount and is not likely to face a trial.

Sanchez’s lawyers are currently negotiating a delay fee with the Spanish treasury to compensate for his late payments.
