Atletico Madrid President Enrique Cerezo believes his club can persuade Antoine Griezmann to stay despite interest from Manchester United.

Manchester United have stepped up their pursuit for Griezmann and is prepared to trigger the €100m release clause in his contract.

But Cerezo is determined to tie down Griezmann at Atletico.

“There are many offers,’ Cerezo said. “I don’t know what will come of Manchester United’s interest. What I can say though is that Griezmann will be an Atlético player for a long time.”

Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG are also monitoring the current situation.
