Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have returned in training after a Christmas and New Year break. Both teams have Copa Del Rey matches this week before they resume their La Liga campaigns next week. Barcelona boss Luis Enrique conducted an open training session at Nou Camp ahead of their Thursday Copa Del Rey clash with Athletic Bilbao. Real Madrid players also seemed in good spirits as they returned to their Valdebebas training ground ahead of their Copa Del Rey match against Sevilla on Wednesday. Cristiano Ronaldo trained alongside his teammates but the Portuguese superstar is not expected to play before Saturday’s La Liga fixture against Granada.

Real Madrid currently top the La Liga table as Barca trail them by three points.
