BURNLEY SURPASS EUROPEAN GIANTS IN PROFITS

Burnley made a net profit of £40m in 2015, making more than the likes of Bayern Munich, Ajax and Porto. UEFA released their eighth annual club licensing benchmark report on Thursday which offers an insight into the financial statuses of European clubs in 2015. The report revealed the surprising information about the Clarets, who were relegated from the Premier League that year.

Liverpool top the list with a net profit of £75m while Newcastle became second(£43m) and Real Madrid third(£42m)
