Champions League Draw

Very tough draws for the Italians, as Juventus have Manchester United and Valencia, Napoli face PSG and Liverpool, Roma have Real Madrid and Inter with Barcelona and Tottenham.
The draw for the Champions League group phase was completed in Monte Carlo this evening, with four Italian clubs involved.
Matches in the group stage run from September 18-19 to December 11-12.
Juventus start as one of the favourites, having come so close in recent years and signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, even though their last triumph was 22 years ago.
They’ll have some familiar faces on show, as Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo face their former clubs.
Roma reached the semi-finals last term, beaten only narrowly by Liverpool after eliminating Barcelona in an epic comeback.
This time around, they face another Spanish giant – three times in a row winners Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti will lead Napoli in a competition he has won with both Milan and Real Madrid, while 2010 Treble winners Inter are back in Europe’s most prestigious club tournament.
He’ll face arguably the toughest group of all against Paris Saint-Germain (one of his former clubs and the current home of Gigi Buffon), last year’s semi-finalists Liverpool and Crvena Zvezda/Red Star Belgrade.
Inter are back in after a few years in the wilderness and thrown right in at the deep end with Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and PSV Eindhoven.
Keylor Navas was voted Champions League Goalkeeper of the Season, beating Italy’s Gigi Buffon and ex-Roma shot-stopper Alisson Becker.
His Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos was named Defender of the Season, Luka Modric the midfielder and Cristiano Ronaldo (absent) the forward.
