Chelsea have downplayed reports of a rift between Antonio Conte and their transfer chiefs over a lack of movement so far ahead of the summer market.

Blues fans have been concerned as reports in Italy suggested that cracks were starting to appear in the relationship between the club’s manager and those who run the club.

Conte is also set for talks over an improved new deal and he is preparing to move his family to London over the summer.

Chelsea have yet to make a major signing for their senior squad but are chasing deals for Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko.
