To celebrate Labor Day Weekend, MLS players from across Major League Soccer showed solidarity by changing their profile pictures to the “I Am The MLSPA” Mosaic. A press release from the MLS Player’s Association described the graphic as ‘’a collection of hundreds of photos of current players demonstrating the strength and unity that exists among all MLSPA members.’’ The MLSPA have been using social media platforms to raise awareness regarding several player interest issues as the organization prepares to negotiate new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) terms with US Soccer. The current CBA deal expires January 30, 2020.
