LEICESTER STUN LIVERPOOL

Leicester City generated a vibrant display at King Power stadium and recorded a much needed 3-1 win against Liverpool on Monday.

It was a much-improved display from the Foxes under caretaker boss Craig Shakespeare, who took over after the departure of the man who led them to last season’s remarkable title triumph.

Jamie Vardy’s brace sandwiched a magnificent Danny Drinkwater strike before Coutinho found the net to pick up a consolation goal for the visitors.

Leicester are 15th in the league table and are 2 points shy of the relegation zone. Liverpool, on the other hand, are 5th with 49 points.
