Lionel Messi’s father Jorge Messi, who is also his agent, claims his son has no intention to leave the Catalan giants.

The Argentine star has only 18 months left on his contract and is yet to commit his future officially to Barcelona.

It was reported earlier this month that Manchester City will offer a world record £100m transfer fee to Barcelona for Messi.

Jorge Messi denies any possibility of a transfer.

“There is no danger that Messi will leave Barcelona,” he told Cadena SER.
Messi has scored 24 goals and made 9 assists in 27 appearances for Barcelona this season.
