Roma defender Kostas Manolas has been approached by Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United, his agent confirms. Manchester United and Chelsea are eager to sign the Roma defender this month, for whom Arsenal made a £35m bid last summer.
A winter move is unlikely for the Greek defender but his agent Ioannis Evangelopulos hinted at a potential summer move.
Evangelopulos said: ”A departure this winter? We are aware of the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea, but for the moment I can not say anything.
“But this summer, there may be something.”
Manolas’s current contract at Roma runs till 2019.
