Lionel Messi says he will stay with Barcelona as long as the club wants him amid rumors of a world record move away from the Nu Camp.

The 29 year old is yet to agree on a new deal with the club as current deal is set to expire in 18 months.

Messi stated “I have always said that Barcelona has given me everything and I am here for as long as they want me to be.”

He also backed his former manager Pep Guardiola saying, “Of course Pep is a very successful coach, he will be adjusting to the league(Premier League), but I am sure that he will be successful.”
