The MLS Disciplinary Committee has handed down one suspension and five fines following Week 19 of the 2017 MLS regular season.
The Disciplinary Committee has suspended Real Salt Lake midfielder Luke Mulholland for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent in the 57th minute of Salt Lake’s 6-2 win over the LA Galaxy on July 4.
Houston Dynamo forward Erick “Cubo “Torres, New York City FC midfielder Yangel Herrera and Sporting Kansas City midfielder Ilie Sanchez were fined undisclosed amounts over simulation and disciplinary issues. Besides, both Sporting Kansas City and the Philadelphia Union have been fined for violating the league’s mass confrontation policy in the 66th minute of the teams’ 1-1 draw on July 6.
