Spain is keen to host the European Championships for the 2028 edition. The country has never hosted the Euros, and the closest they’ll come to doing so will be in 2020 when Bilbao will be one of the host cities. Alongside the 2028 Euros, Spain are also interested in hosting the 2030 World Cup, either alone or in a joint bid with Morocco and Portugal. The 2030 World Cup will be the 100thanniversary of the World Cup and FIFA may be inclined to hand it to Uruguay, the first country to host the tournament.
