Daily Mail reports that Southampton have accepted West Ham United’s £8m bid for Jose Fonte.

However, no official statements have yet been made.

Fonte rejected a new contract at Southampton earlier this season and handed in a transfer request.

Everton and Manchester United were also linked with the defender.
