Juventus are planning to offer Miralem Pjanic to Arsenal in a swap deal for Arsenal’s Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez, Italian newspaper Tuttosport reports.

According to the report, Juventus will not include in the initial offer and will use him as a failsafe in case Arsenal reject their first offer.

Pjanic, who scored 7 goals and made 9 assists in 22 appearances for Juve, could be an ideal replacement in the Arsenal midfield for Santi Cazorla.

The Chilean has only 18 months left in his contract at Arsenal and is yet to agree on an extension.
