ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC NAMED PFA FAN’S PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Manchester United forward Zlaltan Ibrahimovic has won the PFA fans’ Premier League player of the month award for December beating Liverpool’s Adam Lallana and Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta. Ibrahimovic claimed 24,092 votes out of almost 64,000 total cast votes to win the prestigious award. Lallana came in second with 17,935 votes and Azpilicueta became third with 11,944 votes. The other nominees were Tottenham’s Delle Alli(5,863)Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford(2,874) and West Ham’s Dimitri Payet(1,264). Ibrahimovic had scored six goals in seven matches for Manchester United in December and continued his fine form last Monday when he found the back of the net against West Ham in his side’s 2-0 win.
